2022 has proven that simplicity is key when it comes to successful colorways on sneakers. For The Swoosh and the companies under their large umbrella, releases like the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” consistently sell out on release day even with restocks going down on what seems like a bi-weekly basis. Joining in on the black/white parade, Jordan Brands' latest performance basketball sneaker, the Air Jordan 37, has just appeared in an “Oreo” colorway.
Premium and modern materials make up the performance basketball model with the upper featuring leather, Leno-Weave, and neoprene across its AJ 7-inspired design. All-white shades take over the majority of the sneaker with the leather mudguard, Leno-Weave overlay, and eyestays all remaining colorless while the mesh tongue comes in all-black (sans the Jumpman logo sitting at its top). Laces opt for a two-tone approach, coming in black/white, while the collar portion sticks to a single shade of black. Back on the heel, we get one of our only deviations from the “Oreo” color scheme with the Jumpman logo on the pull tab getting a citrus makeover. Underfoot, a full-length Zoom Strobel unit keeps things as comfy as can be, encased by a white foam with black splatter details while the heel features a clear semi-translucent rubber. Rounding out the design is the black and white rubber outsole featuring a carbon fiber shank and another hit of citrus thanks to the Jumpman on the heel.
The Air Jordan 37 Oreo is set to release on November 3rd, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
