Jordan Brand has an illustrious history of evolving its classic silhouettes, maintaining the delicate balance between honoring legacy and embracing innovation. The Air Jordan 38, already making waves for ball players, is no exception. It’s set to hit shelves in 2024 in a low-top variant that was showcased thanks to Brandon Ingram. Now, we’re getting a detailed look at another Jordan 38 Low colorway, this time dubbed New Beginning.
The Air Jordan 38 Low New Beginning is a harmonious blend of form, function, and aesthetics. Its upper is enveloped in a soft leather, dressed in creamy coconut milk. This base layer intermingles gracefully with textiles and intricately embroidered accents. A woven textile emerges on the midfoot, offering glimpses of a gentle pink hue below. This same pink graces the lace set further amplified in the embroidered regions of the collar and heel. The Jordan emblem perched atop the tongue is contrasted and framed by a defining black.
Further adding depth to this masterpiece is the hyper pink sockliner. Supporting every stride is a two-toned midsole in white and black, flanked by black TPU reinforcements strategically positioned at the toe and midfoot. The design culminates with a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 38 Low New Beginning will release on January 23, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, they come with a retail price tag of $175.
