Jordan Brand may have started with performance basketball silhouettes, but it's ventured into other sports as far reaching as golf. Since the first Jordan Golf sneaker hit the market in 2015, we’ve seen a variety of Air Jordan retro sneakers receive course-ready makeovers, and the latest comes on the Air Jordan 6 in a clean “Black Chrome” colorway.
Across the upper sits a premium black nubuck with chrome accents, giving the shoe a luxurious and refined appearance. The silhouette maintains the iconic design elements of the Air Jordan 6, including the heel spoiler and perforations on the midfoot panels, while incorporating golf-specific features such as a performance-ready outsole for enhanced traction on the green. Branding details swap between shades, as the heel hosts a white Jumpman, and the tongue contains a black version of this logo. Underfoot, the midsole receives a black and white finish, with the white portion containing a black speckle paint job. Rounding out the look is an outsole that mixes semi-translucent blue and black with removable golf spikes.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf Black Chrome will release May 19 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
