The Air Jordan 6 was the first silhouette from Jordan Brand to be retooled for the golf course. Now, nearly a decade since its first release, the model still is a favorite among golf enthusiasts. For its latest release, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf commemorates to the upcoming U.S. Open tournament.
Boasting an upper crafted from premium leather, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf U.S. Open is drenched in contrasting hues of silver and purple. The design begins at the toebox with light purple and gradually transitions to a more intense shade as you move toward the profile. Adding a striking contrast, silver leather overlays adorn the midfoot, collar, and heel sections. White laces and a matching tongue set the stage for detailing, allowing the green Jumpman logo, silver metallic lace lock, and multi-color graphic on the lace lock to pop. A faint purple speckle design on the tongue and a graffiti-style Jordan Golf logo on the insole elevate the aesthetic. Underneath, a white and purple midsole houses a visible Air unit in the heel. The sneaker rounds off with a clear plastic outsole with removable spikes for added functionality.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf US Open will release June 14 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
