When the Air Jordan 6 was originally released in 1991 it only came in high-top form. In 2002 it was converted to low top for the first time ever. Since then the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low has seen random drops here and there, both solo and alongside its high-top counterpart. Twenty years after its debut, JB is bringing back the AJ 6 Retro Low for another round.
Known as the “Atmosphere” edition, this kid’s exclusive Air Jordan 6 Retro Low comes in a white, atmosphere, infrared 23 and black colorway. Featuring Carmine-like color blocking, the upper sports white leather overlays with light pink nubuck underlays. Infrared 23 accents are found on the midsole, Jumpman branding on the tongue and lace toggle. Black plastic hits on the tongue and back heel pull loop are finished off by semi-translucent pink hits on the outsole.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Low Atmosphere GS is set to release on January 3rd, 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. They will be available in kids sizes from gradeschool down to toddler. GS sizes will retail for $120.
