Originally released on October 4th, 2000, the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Midnight Navy” was the third and final release from the AJ 6’s initial retro run. Dubbed a “Retro+” colorway, they came in a clean white and midnight navy colorway. Sporting a white-based leather upper with midnight navy accents and “Jumpman” branding in place of the traditional “Nike Air.”
A fan-favorite for over twenty years, the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 6 is officially set to return in 2022. Staying true to their original predecessor, this re-release features the same white-based leather upper with midnight navy accents. This time around however, the sneaker will feature icy blue translucent hits on the outsole, adding blue tints in place of the all clear look, which should help slow down the yellowing process.
Originally scheduled to release in March 2022, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Midnight Navy has been pushed several times and will now release in May 2022. A general release, look out for them at select Nike retailers in-store and online. Retail is set at the usual $200 for men’s sizes. They will also be available in full-family sizing, down to toddler.
