When the Air Jordan 7 Retro got its second retro run in 2006, the first colorway released was an all-new pair, dubbed, "Chambray." It was a limited release, and dropped alongside matching apparel at select retailers. The sneaker sported a black-based nubuck upper with chambray blue and light graphite accents. It quickly became one of the most popular non-OG colorways of all-time. While 2022 was the 30th Anniversary of the AJ 7, releases for MJ's seventh signature silhouette were few and far between, with the only original colorway slated making comeback, the "Cardinal" edition, being released in December. That doesn't mean that Jordan Brand is done with the AJ 7, as evident with the recently release Trophy Room collab. The Air Jordan 7 Retro "Chambray" is set to release as a part of Jordan Brand's Fall 2023 Lineup.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro Chambray is set to release on July 15th, 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $200.
