While this Air Jordan 7 Retro has more of a fall/winter vibe, that isn’t stopping Jordan Brand from releasing them as a part of their Spring 2022 Retro Footwear Collection. Thirty years. In 2022 it will be thirty years since the Air Jordan 7 originally graced the feet of Michael Jordan en route to his second NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls. Crazy how time flies for some of us, right? Anyways, back to the shoes.
Known as the “Sapphire” edition, this all-new Air Jordan 7 Retro comes in a shimmer, black and sapphire colorway. Sporting an ACG-like vibe, the sneaker features a nubuck leather upper with translucent mesh, contrasted by a multi-color neoprene tongue and sockliner. Speckled detailing is found via the grey midsole which sits atop a smoky translucent rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro SE Sapphire is set to release on April 16th, 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in mens sizing and retail for $210.
