Jordan Brand continues to innovate in the performance basketball segment, consistently introducing new models that cater to athletes of all levels. This year, they are making a significant impact with the debut of the Air Jordan Heir, a women's-focused sneaker that premiered at WNBA All-Star Weekend. While Jordan Brand has released sneakers for ladies in the past, this marks the first women’s performance basketball model in years.
The Jordan Heir showcases a striking combination of materials and colors designed to stand out on and off the court. The sneaker features a mesh base with leather overlays around the toe, eyestays, and midfoot for enhanced durability and support. A large TPU panel covers the midfoot and heel, providing stability and a modern aesthetic. This Sail Vapor Green colorway is eye-catching, with vapor green hues dominating the TPU overlays. The base mesh presents a zebra pattern incorporating black, pink, white, and green, adding a vibrant and dynamic look.
Jordan branding is prominently displayed, with text on the sail leather overlay near the toe and multiple Jumpman logos across the upper, including the tongue, a slanted tag near the vamp, and the lateral heel. The jersey mesh tongue and padded mesh sockliner ensure comfort and breathability. Underfoot, the Jordan Heir features a foam midsole for responsive cushioning and a grippy rubber outsole for excellent traction.
The Jordan Heir Main Character W will release on November 1, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
