The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low returned to store shelves in 2022. Made to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of this modified AJ 1 silhouette, the sneaker still needs to capture the hearts of sneakerheads this go around. Nevertheless, Jordan Brand is still planning to dish out new colorways, such as the upcoming Shattered Backboard edition.
Following in the footsteps of its classic AJ 1 counterparts, the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Shattered Backboard comes in a white, black, and orange blaze colorway. The all-leather upper comes in white and black, with black covering the majority and white on the toebox and side panels. Orange Blaze wraps around the back heel of the upper and midsole, as well as the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Most of the midsole comes in white, with Air technology absorbing impact for cushioning with every step. More orange is found on the insoles, as well as the majority of the solid rubber outsole, completing the Shattered Backboard theme.
The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Shattered Backboard will release Spring 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105 for men and $90 for GS.
