While it may not be well-received by present-day sneakerheads, the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low is having quite a comeback. Returning in late 2022 for its 20th Anniversary, Jordan Brand has released a handful of colorways, including the "Chicago," "Jayson Tatum" and recently released "Lightning" iterations. Later this year, we will see the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low in a clean "Field Purple" edition.
Resembling the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Court Purple," the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low "Field Purple" sports similar color blocking on this re-imagined AJ 1 silhouette. A tri-color design throughout the upper comes in white, black, and purple — with black and purple covering the majority. On the sides, the classic Air Jordan Wings logo gets debossed on white leather. More white is found on the front of the midsole, split as you get to the back by field purple. A matching purple outsole with an icy blue translucent stripe round out the look.
The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Field Purple is set to release this fall. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $105. Check out our Jordan release calendar, and keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
