Previewed by Yoon Ahn in November of 2021, her label AMBUSH has linked up with Nike Sportswear to bring back the Nike Air Adjust Force. Originally released in 1996, the Air Adjust Force was a basketball silhouette that featured interchangeable FitWrap Straps. This gave the wearer the ultimate customization options as they could cop the silhouette in black or white and cop over ten different strap colors to go with their style.
Now after over 25 years, the Nike Air Adjust Force is set for its first retro run, courtesy of the Tokyo-based label. Coming in a clean black and white, this pair is completely blacked out. The only hits of color come via the white branding throughout. For an additional touch of flair, Ambush has designed a special black-based FitWrap Strap with purple and pink accenting the black Swoosh on the sides. The outsole also has some added Nike Grind recycled hits on the bottom for a modern-day touch.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force Black Psychic Purple is set to release on August 19th, 2022. It will drop at Ambush as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers in-store and online. They will be available in extended men’s sizes with a retail price set at $210. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
