Nike’s frequent use of collaborators allows brands such as AMBUSH to bring their unique design language to classic Nike silhouettes, as seen on previous AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High releases like the “Black White” or “Deep Royal Blue” colorways. With their last link up coming on the Air Adjust Force, the standard Air Force 1 is now set to get a slight tweak thanks to Yoon Ahn’s label. Already spotted in a three-pack of colorways, a “Laney” pair has just appeared.
Seemingly taking inspiration from the team colors of Michael Jordan’s high school, Laney High School, the premium tumbled leather upper gets covered in a singular shade of blue with accenting yellow details popping throughout. The latter of these two shades lands on the redesigned lace dubrae that features both AMBUSH and AF1 branding, the Nike Swoosh that jets off the back of the model, and an enlarged Nike branded heel tab. Further co-branded details appear on the tongue tag and insole with the sneaker's design finished off by a blue-on-blue rubber midsole and outsole.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low Laney is set to release on December 16th, 2022 through Nike SNKRS while AMBUSH and select will drop the pair in the coming weeks. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
