Andrew Reynolds’ New Balance Numeric 933 Debuts April 2025

While a few years ago, you might scoff at the thought of New Balance being a frontrunner in the world of hype footwear; the Boston-based footwear brand has perfectly leaned into modern trends and collaborators to bring hype and energy to the “dad shoe” brand. Outside of the sportstyle category, New Balance has also been making strides under its skateboarding division, New Balance Numeric, signing some legendary skaters who have, in turn, launched multiple sneakers. One NB# rider, Andrew Reynolds, wants to expand his signature sneaker line with a brand-new Numeric 933 model that will debut in April 2025.

Three weeks back, Reynolds posted a mysterious ad on his Instagram page and tagged New Balance Numeric, the photo depicting Andrew’s foot getting scanned. This left many wondering what footwear the duo would be working on, but in an interview with Boardsport Source, Andrés Araya from New Balance stated that a must-have style from Numerics Spring/Summer 2025 Collection would be “NM933 Andrew Reynolds,” confirming that the legendary skateboarder would be getting a new model. Thankfully for all of us, Andrew is sporting the pair on the cover of the March 2025 edition of Thrasher Magazine.

Though the photo is a bit grainy when zoomed in, you can make out the 993 DNA in this new low-top skate shoe, as the paneling and N logo almost appear identical to the heritage Made in USA silhouette. With skateboarding in mind, the sneaker will likely have some impact protection inside its tooling setup, possibly incorporating NB’s FuelCell cushion, which has become a go-to for many new sneakers from the label. Once more precise shots emerge, and NB# officially unveils the sneaker, we’ll better understand the tech and design details.

According to a co-authored Instagram post by Reynolds and New Balance Numeric, the Numeric 933 model will debut in April 2025 through New Balance and select Numeric-affiliated skate shops online and in-store.
