The sneaker world has always been a melting pot of culture, music, and art, with Japan often at the forefront of these creative intersections. This December, Japanese retailer atmos and Reebok team up with Osaka's reggae artist Redspider Junior and his brand Ah Murderz for a unique Reebok Club C 85 rendition. This collaboration follows atmos’ successful partnerships with Reebok, including the recent joint effort with Fxxking Rabbits.
Redspider Junior’s take on the Club C fuses music-inspired aesthetics and classic sneaker design. The silhouette features a smooth leather and nubuck construction, presenting a timeless Bred color scheme. The sneaker is a canvas for cultural expression, with the Ah Murderz logo thoughtfully replacing Reebok's traditional branding on the midfoot window. Additional branding for Ah Murderz is strategically placed on an added tag, the tongue, and the heel, with the insole featuring the label alongside Reebok and atmos. Underfoot, the design is completed with a black midsole, accentuated with red stitching, and paired with a red rubber outsole.
The atmos x Redspider Junior x Reebok Club C 85 Ah Murderz is set to release December 22, 2023, exclusively at atmos Tokyo online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥17,600 (approx $124).
