Japanese-based retailer atmos has always been at the forefront of fashion-forward collaborations. This year is no exception. Building on their successful partnership that birthed the XT-6 earlier this year, atmos and Salomon are set to release their second joint venture, focusing on the rugged ACS + CSWP silhouette.
The shoe boasts a sophisticated blend of materials. Heavy-duty canvas, durable leather, TPU, and breathable mesh combine seamlessly, predominantly dressed in an earthy beige. The robust TPU sidecage contrasts in a deep brown adorned with metallic eyestays. Both atmos and Salomon ensure their branding is prominent: atmos subtly graces the spine of the tongue, while Salomon's signature logo sits confidently on a premium leather panel and the midfoot area. The heel doesn't shy away, bearing Salomon's name proudly. To finish, a tonal foam midsole supports every step, leading to a distinct tie-dye rubber outsole that provides traction and flair.
The atmos x Salomon ACS + CSWP Strata and Fossils will release in October 7, 2023 exclusively via atmos Tokyo online and in-store. A wider release via Salomon and atmos USA has yet to be confirmed. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
