Fresh off his tour for the album "nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana," which concluded with a grand finale in Miami, Bad Bunny is set to release more footwear with adidas that reflects his unique style. Following the buzz around The Last Campus release and previews of his first adidas Gazelle, a new colorway of the latter model has surfaced. Images posted by a fan page show Bad Bunny himself sporting a San Juan version of his adidas Gazelle, adding to the excitement surrounding this partnership.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle San Juan features an intriguing design with a warped toebox overlay, deviating from the traditional T-toe by shifting it to the lateral side. The upper is crafted from smooth leather, complemented by a perforated leather toebox for added texture and breathability. White accents provide a striking contrast, appearing on the vamp, eyestays, Three Stripes, and tongue. One of the standout features is the doubled-up tongue construction, a signature of Bad Bunny’s adidas collaborations. This design contains a secondary tongue, which features Bad Bunny branding, to be removed, revealing the standard adidas branding underneath. On the heel, we see the size tag placed, a detail typically only found on the inside of the sneaker. Special to this pair is the San Juan branding on the lateral side, replacing the Benito text found on the other Bad Bunny Gazelle. Everything is completed with a semi-translucent midsole and outsole.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle San Juan will release June 23, 2024, to coincide with the Puerto Rican celebration of La Noche de San Juan, or Saint John's Night. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
