As we celebrate two significant milestones - the 20th Anniversary of adidas collaborating with BAPE and BAPE's monumental 30th year in the streetwear game - fans have been treated to several drops, including the ABC Camo-wrapped Forum Lows. The duo is releasing an ultra-limited "Triple White" Forum Low 84, with just 100 pairs up for grabs through an innovative NFT auction.
This version of the Forum Low 84 boasts a luxurious tumbled leather surface, drenched entirely in pristine white. The only hint of color appears as a metallic silver lace dubrae commemorating BAPE's 30th Anniversary. The shoe's medial side carries the Three Stripes, while BAPE's renowned shooting star emblem graces the lateral side. "A Bathing Ape" also gleams in metallic silver foil on this lateral side, placed below the star logo. A matching white rubber midsole and outsole encapsulate the understated elegance of this design.
Every pair from this limited release comes embedded with an NFC chip in the left tongue, giving its owner a Digital Certificate of Authenticity. The NFT auction, facilitated by MoonPay, will offer special privileges to ALTS by adidas and (B)APETAVERSE NFT holders. Winners will become holders of the adidas Originals x BAPE "Fresh Forum" Access Pass and will have the exclusive chance to redeem their pair on September 26, 2023. The holder will be granted a digital and real-life version of the coveted sneaker. Deliveries are slated to commence in October.
