Crocs has firmly established itself as a powerhouse in collaborative footwear, consistently pushing the boundaries of creativity with its unique partnerships. Known for teaming up with a wide array of brands and pop culture icons, from Pokémon to Satisfy, Crocs continues to expand its reach with exciting new releases. The latest addition to its superhero-themed lineup is a collaboration that will thrill fans of the Dark Knight. Crocs has reimagined its Classic Clog with a Batmobile-inspired design, bringing a piece of Gotham City to your feet.
The Batman x Crocs Classic Clog Batmobile takes the brand's signature Croslite foam upper and transforms it into a canvas celebrating one of the most iconic vehicles in comic book history. The clog features detailed graphics that mimic the sleek and powerful aesthetics of the Batmobile, as seen in the films starring Michael Keaton. Jibbitz charms showcase various elements of the car. A glossy TPU overlay is added to the forefoot, cleverly designed to resemble the Batmobile's windshield.
The sports mode strap, which Crocs fans have come to love, includes wing details that pay homage to the Batmobile's aggressive design. Inside, the footbed features Batman's symbol, adding an extra layer of fandom to the mix. The heel of the sole unit is where the real magic happens, as it includes jet engine details that mirror those found on the actual Batmobile. The sole itself is crafted to represent the undercarriage of the Batmobile, complete with wheels, lights, and exhausts; all rounded out by a sleek black outsole.
The Batman x Crocs Classic Clog Batmobile has already been released at select retailers in the EU, though a worldwide drop through Crocs and stateside retailers will September 16, 2024. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $70. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
