As we approach the end of July, adidas is offering us a refreshing lineup of sneakers this week. In particular, we will be introduced to the latest designs in adidas Basketball's Chapter 3 collection, which includes two colorways of the adidas Rivalry Low 86, "White" and "Black."
The collection expands with the introduction of the adidas Harden Vol. 7 "Pulse Olive," a shoe designed to deliver on the basketball court, and the adidas Crazy IIInfinity, a new model with a futuristic aesthetic continuing the legacy of the adidas Crazy series from the 2000s.
adidas has also got the women's section covered with exclusive versions of the adidas Forum, including an XLG and two "Bold" renditions. The XLG "White Yellow" stands out with its enlarged proportions and chunky sole, while the Forum Bold models are set to dazzle with platform soles and enlarged branding details.
To top off this exciting week, San Benito and adidas bring us a new iteration of the duo’s collaborative Campus model in "Brown." The sneaker features design cues from previous Bad Bunny x adidas collaborations, swathed in tonal browns and creams.
Below we’ve gone into further detail regarding the best of the upcoming adidas releases this week. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest happenings in sneakers and streetwear.
adidas Crazy IIInfinity
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity offers a striking blend of contemporary style, retro design, and modern-day tech. The upper comes covered in synthetic material and features a zippable lace cover, presenting a two-tone white and black color scheme. Rubberized portions near the toe and heel add to the durability, while minimal branding details allow the design to speak for itself. Below the lace closure is a small Three Stripes logo in pulse olive, matching the stripe found on the transparent outsole.
adidas Harden Vol. 7 "Pulse Olive"
The adidas Harden Vol. 7 "Pulse Olive" continues the performance-ready design of James Harden’s signature series. This rendition delivers a fresh look with suede, rubber, and textile portions dressed in pulse olive. Core black shades are found on the internal pieces, tongue, heel, and select areas of the sole unit. The hues utilized here match the color palette of the clothing collection that is part of adidas Basketball’s Chapter 3 collection. Beyond aesthetics, its design promises superior performance on the court, ensuring you can play your best while looking your best.
adidas Rivalry 86 Low "Core Black"
Offering a timeless look with its sleek black colorway is the adidas Rivalry 86 Low "Core Black.” Its low-cut design promotes flexibility, while the use of high-quality materials ensures durability. Though it is no longer the pinnacle of performance basketball, the grippy outsole and comfortable EVA cushioning allow for a tremendous underfoot experience for all-day wear. This black-based colorway features hits of cream on the sockliner, laces, and sole unit, while pulse olive marks the Trefoil branding atop the tongue.
adidas Rivalry 86 Low "Cream"
The adidas Rivalry 86 Low is a perfect summer staple, presented in this "Cream" colorway. Its lightweight design and comfortable fit make it an excellent choice for daily wear, while the cream hue offers a clean and minimalist aesthetic. Accenting these lighter shades are black hits along the sockliner and lace set. Like the “Core Black” colorway, the Trefoil logo atop the tongue comes in pulse olive, tying the collection's theme together.
adidas Forum XLG "Cloud White Yellow" (W)
The women-exclusive adidas Forum XLG "Cloud White Yellow" captivates with its bright and sunny color scheme. The sneaker features exaggerated proportions, a chunky sole, and a double tongue - elements that help with its statement-making appeal. Most of the model gets dressed in tumbled leather with yellow accents on the Three Stripes, the backing of the “X” strap, and the bottom tongue tag. Underfoot we see a white rubber take over the midsole and a creamy finish applied to the outsole.
adidas Forum Bold "Off White Wonder Clay"
The adidas Forum Bold "Off White Wonder Clay" is designed for women seeking a blend of comfort and fashion. The model boasts a platform sole and enlarged branding details, making it a standout piece. The muted clay color offers a sophisticated look that is sure to elevate any outfit that contrasts beautifully with the blue-tinted hues on the heel and vamp. Off White hues take over the rest of the upper and sole unit.
adidas Forum Bold "Crystal White Dark Blue"
Another women-exclusive release, the adidas Forum Bold "Crystal White Dark Blue," offers a crisp, clean aesthetic with its contrasting dark blue accents. The shoe’s platform sole and enlarged branding allow it to stand out amongst standard adidas Forum Low colorways. Besides the dark blue hits on the osckiner, Three Stripes, and tongue tag, the sneaker features grey and white on its various overlays and underlays. Down below, a cream-colored rubber midsole and outsole complete the look.
Bad Bunny x adidas Campus "Brown"
Capping off the week is the latest addition to the Bad Bunny x adidas partnership - the Bad Bunny x adidas Campus "Brown." Retaining elements from previous collaborations, this model features Benito's "el ojo" logo, a double tongue, and rubberized panels. The internal heel counter and puffy mesh around the collar enhance comfort, all dressed in a palate of tonal browns and creams. Co-branded details appear on the faux leather insole, featuring Benito’s bunny logo and adidas’ name. One notable difference between this pair and others in the partnership is that the tongue comes in a two-tone finish with the bottom attached portion coming in cream, and the top in a brown shade.
