Professional skateboarder Blondey McCoy is back with another adidas collaboration, introducing a fresh take that recalls his first collaboration with The Three Stripes. The adidas Blondey Pro Model ADV has already emerged in "Night Indigo." Now, a "White Black" rendition joins the line-up.
The Blondey McCoy x adidas Blondey Pro Model ADV "White Black" combines traditional and modern elements. The see-through plastic construction is most notable, giving the sneaker an edgy yet minimalist feel. Blondey’s inclusion of this material is a call back to his first adidas collaboration in 2019. The classic rubber toe cap, leather eyestays, and tongue bring a sense of familiarity to the revamped design, while the black leather Three Stripes and laces contrast the clean white base. On the quarter panel, the regular Pro Model branding is replaced by Blondey's metallic gold insignia. Finally, the white sole unit has been subtly retooled to better suit skateboarding, providing superior grip and durability.
The Blondey McCoy x adidas Blondey Pro Model ADV White Black will release August 25, 2023, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store.
