Streetwear brand Brain Dead continues to push the boundaries of collaborative footwear design with its ongoing partnership with Oakley. This partnership goes beyond simply rebranding existing silhouettes; it involves the creation of entirely new sneaker designs under the Oakley Factory Team. Led by Brain Dead, the Oakley Factory Team has already introduced four innovative designs: the Flesh, Flesh Sandal, Paguro, and Chop Saw Mule. Following the successful drop in April, the latest collection, Drop 3, is set to launch this summer with fresh colorways perfect for the season.
The Paguro slide in this collection stands out with its Charizard Red color palette, featuring a striking gradient that transitions from red at the toe to orange at the heel. This fiery look will turn heads and is perfect for making a statement. The Flesh Sandal comes in a Lava color scheme, blending red suede panels with a black mesh and neoprene base, offering a bold yet comfortable option for the warm weather.
The Flesh sneaker takes on a more subdued approach with a Caviar colorway, predominantly black with white contrast stitching, and a greyish-blue sole unit, providing a sleek and versatile look. Finally, the Chop Saw Mule gets a fresh Celery makeover, with the toe and profile overlaid in a celery green shade, contrasted by black on the rest of the mule, including the sole.
The Brain Dead x Oakley Factory Team Collection Drop 3 is set to release on June 4, 2024, through Brain Dead, Oakley, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price ranges between $100 and $165.
