Last night, Breanna Stewart and the New York Liberty won their very first WNBA championship. During this past regular and postseason, Stewart has taken the floor in her signature sneaker, the Puma Stewie 3, and launched multiple colorways throughout 2024, including a Harry Potter collab. As she basks in the glow of her hard-earned victory, Stewart will soon have even more to celebrate, with a new sneaker joining her signature sneaker line with Puma.
In early images obtained by Sole Retriever, this new Breanna Stewart Puma sneaker comes with new tooling and construction from top to bottom. The sneaker has two layers, with a base layer reinforced via an overlay that shrouds the upper, attached via strings near the heel. A formstrip runs across the midfoot, resting below the nylon lace loops and lacing setup. Breanna Stewart's S logo graces the tongue, while the heel tab contains a Puma cat logo and Stewie text in a cursive font. More co-branding for the duo is found on the insole. Down below, the sneaker comes complete with a foam midsole, though the tech within is a mystery, paired with a grippy rubber outsole. Final details for Stewart are found on the heel of the midsole via the Stewie text, which is also on the outsole, and an S logo near the toe.
We cannot confirm whether this sneaker will be the follow-up to the Stewie 3 (Stewie 4?) or be a budget, take-down version of her signature line akin to other signature sneaker lines. So far, three colorways have appeared for this new Breanna Stewart Puma sneaker: one in a Teal Multi-Color appearance, another in a mismatched pink and teal dubbed Past Present Future, and a Splatter Paint iteration. Check below for images of all three pairs, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on info for this new Breanna Stewart Puma model and more in the sneaker world.
