The Brooks Glycerin 22 SE is Available Now

Brooks Running has held its position as a top running brand for years, but sneakerheads are only now beginning to pay attention to the hundred-plus-year-old label thanks to its entry into the lifestyle realm. Kicking things off was a collaboration with Jeff Staple on the Adrenaline GTS 4, which will quickly be followed up with two GR colorways later in March. However, the brand’s bread and butter is still performance running, and they’ve just introduced an update to their Glycerin 22 model, the Glycerin 22 SE.

The traditional Glycerin 22 silhouette features your standard lacing setup, but this new SE variant removes the laces for a sleeker look. To help with the laceless construction, a flat knit upper molds to your foot, allowing for stretch and compression that moves with you. Reinforcements are found around the toe and midfoot, adding to the stability of the model, while branding features are located on the lateral midfoot reinforcement.

As with Brooks models, the cushioning and tooling below are exactly what a runner needs. The midsole has a 10mm drop and features Nitrogen-infused DNA Tuned cushioning with dual-size cell technology for all-day comfort and zonal responsiveness. Larger cells are placed in the heel for impact protection and plush landings, while smaller cells in the forefoot help with responsive toe-offs.

The Brooks Glycerin 22 SE was released on March 1, 2025, and is available now in four colorways: two women’s exclusives and two men’s pairs. Each pair retails for $165.
