Caroline Hu's Debut adidas Samba Collection Releases Exclusively Through Juice Store

Teaming up with high-fashion designers is nothing new for adidas, and the latest link-up in this space is with Caroline Hu. Hu has quickly become a prominent figure in Chinese fashion, earning recognition as a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Young Designer Award and the BoF China Prize. Her remarkable achievements culminated in becoming the first-ever BoF China Prize winner, establishing her as an emerging talent to watch. Hu's designs explore human relationships and their emotive landscapes, capturing the essence of connection, vulnerability, and profound resonance. With the help of Edison Chen, Hu’s debut collaboration with adidas, dubbed the Reverie by Caroline Hu, is almost here.

The adidas Originals x Reverie by Caroline Hu Collection pushes the boundaries of contemporary fashion by redefining the brand's classic codes in pursuit of romance and beauty, which is central to Hu's design philosophy. The collection seamlessly blends adidas Originals' iconic Samba silhouette with Caroline Hu's unique aesthetic, creating a captivating interplay of soft, delicate materials like lace and textured silk in various colorways.

The collection features five different designs, all covered in textured silk. The Black, Pink, and Off-White pairs maintain the classic silhouette of the Samba, enhanced by the luxurious material. Meanwhile, the Black White and Blue pairs take the design further, shrouding the entire sneaker in frilly material, making a bold fashion statement. Each pair is finished with a dark gum rubber sole unit and Three Stripes branding on the midfoot.

The Caroline Hu x adidas Samba Collection will release on May 24, 2024, exclusively through Juice Store online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
