The Nike Air Max series has a major cult following in the UK and Europe, with British sneakerheads appreciating the Air Max 95 (or 110s if you’re an OG). As such, we’ve seen Nike reach out to overseas partners to work on the model, most notably Clint from Corteiz, who launched three colorways of the Air Max 95 last year and has another colorway coming this year. On top of the new Corteiz pair, Nike has tapped Central Cee and his Syna label to work on a pair of Air Max 95s.
An early in-hand image courtesy of Casual Coppers provides a better look at the sneaker than the teaser posted by JD Sports UK. The Sergio Lozano-designed silhouette is covered in tonal black and anthracite hues across the suede construction. Moving up from the wavy, human anatomy-inspired paneling, we see a netting detail that partially covers the black and gold nylon lace loops. Though not pictured here, we’ll likely see Syna branding placed somewhere on the sneaker, possibly on the insole, hang tag, and/or heel. Underfoot, the midsole features a metallic red bronze finish, also featured inside the Max Air units in the forefoot and heel, paired with a tonal outsole.
The Central Cee x Nike Air Max 95 will release on October 24, 2024, via Syna World's website. Expect a release via Nike UK, JD Sports UK, and other overseas retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the sneaker is priced at £185, approximately $240 USD.
