Edison Chen brought his CLOT label to adidas last year, which shocked the sneaker and streetwear world. Since leaving Nike, we’ve seen multiple CLOT x adidas releases, from their ultra-limited triple collab with NEIGHBORHOOD on the Superstar to the Gazelle Linen Khaki Light Blue and the upcoming Dress Superstar. Official images of two new CLOT x adidas Superstar Breathe colorways have emerged.
Unlike the past two CLOT x adidas Superstars, these two new pairs come with a construction similar to the NEIGHBORHOOD collaboration with an open mesh base layer alongside rubber, suede, and leather details. The iconic shelltoe remains, with the Wonder White and Night Indigo colorways featuring a cream rubber on the toe. Indigo hues dominate the suede panels on the eyelets, tongue, and heel, while a dark navy, almost black hue is present for the mesh base. On the other hand, the Wonder White pair comes with green-tinted suede panels and a tonal mesh base. Chinese characters translating to CLOT land on the lateral midfoot, next to the Three Stripes outlined in contrast stitching. adidas and CLOT co-branding lands atop the tongue and insole. Final details on the upper include:
- The contrast stitching around the suede panels.
- A leather sockliner.
- Baseball stitching on the lace set.
Rounding out the design is the cream rubber midsole with a grooved rubber outsole.
The latest CLOT x adidas Superstar Breathe Wonder White will release on September 27, 2024, exclusively via Juice Store in-store and online. The Night Indigo colorway will follow in the coming weeks through Juice Store, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, retail is set at $150.
