2023 has been a banner year for CLOT, marking the brand's 20th anniversary. Edison Chen, the label's founder, hasn't missed a beat in providing ultra-limited offerings to mark the occasion. Leading up to the release of the CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What The Clot?,” JUICESTORE dropped a tease about a mystery shoe limited to just 250 pairs. Now, the secret's out, as Chen has revealed the CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Retro Low "Silk" Friends & Family edition.
This F&F iteration of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low by CLOT retains iconic elements that fans adore from the retail release. From Chinese characters embroidered on the lateral heel to CLOT's logo gracing the heel's spine, these sneakers showcase CLOT’s meticulous attention to detail. The upper diverges from the previous release's black satin and opts for a white Silk Royale pattern, a nod to the recent CLOT x fragment designs x Nike Dunk Low and the iconic AF1 Silk series. Splashes of red brighten up the lace set, the Jumpman logo, and the sockliner. The midsole follows suit, flaunting red shark teeth designs. Finishing the ensemble is the semi-translucent rubber outsole in a jade green hue.
The CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Retro Low Silk F&F was gifted out to random customers who made a purchase on JUICESTORE.
