Concepts, the Boston-based sneaker boutique, is celebrating its decade-long collaboration with Birkenstock, the iconic German sandal brand, with a special release. This year marks a significant milestone as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of Birkenstock's cherished Arizona sandal. To commemorate this occasion, Concepts and Birkenstock have unveiled an exclusive collection inspired by the vibrancy of Miami and the historical Art Deco movement. The collection reimagines the classic Birkenstock Arizona silhouette with a touch of jubilance and creativity.
The Concepts x Birkenstock Arizona Sandal Collection is a vibrant tribute to both brands' commitment to quality and innovation. The collection features the Arizona model crafted in long-haired cowhide, presented in four striking colors: Hyper Pink, Hyper Mauve, Lime Green, and Faded Orange. Each colorway reflects the essence of Miami's Art Deco district, known for its dynamic architecture and lively ambiance. The collection's launch aligns perfectly with Art Basel in Miami, adding an artistic flair to the celebratory mood.
Tarek Hassan, CEO of Concepts, stated, “Concepts has a rich history in Miami product storytelling. We found that art, design, and fashion share parallels with the times of Art Deco, and now, we are thrilled to partner with Birkenstock on a capsule around this week’s moment in Miami.”
The Concepts x Birkenstock Arizona Sandal Collection will on release December 7, 2023, exclusively at Birkenstock's Miami store, followed by a December 8 release on Concepts' website and retail locations. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $270. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates on this exciting release and more in the world of sneakers and streetwear.
