Concepts And SOREL Come Together For A Key to the City Collection

Sneakerheads who live where there are actual seasons (IE. the Northeast US) have to swap out their usual sneakers for winter-ready boots and hikers to trudge through the snowy streets, but that doesn’t mean you can infuse some style into these pieces of functional footwear. That’s where Concepts and SOREL step in, coming together for yet another collaborative capsule full of winter-ready boots and classy Chelsea boots on the ONA 718 Mid, Hi-Line Chelsea, and Caribou Rain silhouettes that celebrate SOREL’s expert craftsmanship with the aptly named “Key to the City” Collection.
For the three aforementioned silhouettes, Concepts adds its unmistakable edge through co-branded details, premium materials, and color palettes that will stay in style for years to come. On the ONA 718 Mid, 3M overlays and a GITD outsole alongside the uppers ripstop help craft an all-season boot with style while the Hi-Line Chelsea comes equipped with waterproof suede and a lightweight sole that brings the classic design to the modern day. Finally, the Caribou Rein gets a waterproof canvas upper with full-grain leather overlays, a tongue, and a Hydroguard around the toe and edge of the upper and sole unit. Each silhouette will be available in two colorways (sans the Caribou Rein which will be available in three colors) and launch alongside an entire Concepts apparel collection to match each color of the respective sneakers.
The Concepts x SOREL Key to the City Collection is set to release on December 16th, 2022 exclusively through Concepts online and through the Boston and NYC locations in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price for the boots has yet to be announced.
