Entering the ring with a record of 31-0, Haney sported custom Jordan boxing boots and gear, though he suffered his first professional loss in a majority decision to Garcia. Even still, Haney's relationship with Jordan Brand remains a highlight of his career.
Prior to the fight, Haney showcased a special treat for sneakerheads and boxing fans—a PE colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High designed in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This exclusive design features a striking color palette and unique details that reflect Haney’s style and story. The sneaker boasts a predominantly black finish, punctuated with playful accents of pink, blue, and metallic silver, lending a dynamic and vibrant look. The construction includes pebbled leather across the toe box, heel overlay, Swoosh, and collar overlay, with the iconic Wings logo rendered in a striking metallic silver. Adding a personal touch, Haney’s nickname, The Dream, is elegantly scripted in pink on the heel, honoring his late grandmother's influence on his life. The design is completed with a crisp white midsole and a blue semi-translucent rubber outsole that also features The Dream branding, making this shoe as unique as Haney’s journey in the boxing world.
According to an interview with Footwear News, Haney doesn’t hold any official partnership with Jordan Brand but is working on getting a deal done.
