While we have seen the series brought to life via Crocs in the past, Disney is tapping the Colorado-based clog makers to bring to life the series’ star on the Classic Clog. This new collab is joining an aggressive lineup of partnerships for Crocs, including upcoming projects with Naruto, Marvel's Captain America, Toy Story, and The Powerpuff Girls.
The clog's design features Grogu peeking over the edge of his containment sphere, dominating the toe area. This design element brings a playful and immersive aspect to the footwear, making it an instant standout. Adding to the Star Wars theme, the Jibbitz charms include:
- Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian helmet.
- Grogu's favorite blue macarons.
- The blue butterfly from the episode "The Tragedy."
- A depiction of the Sorgan frog.
The interior of the clog showcases a cartoon drawing of Grogu reaching up towards the sky, adding a heartwarming touch. The edges of the sports mode strap are adorned with Grogu sitting in his containment pod, further emphasizing the character's pivotal role in the series. The heel of the clog proudly displays the Star Wars branding, completing the thematic design.
The Disney x Crocs Classic Clog Mandalorian will release April 22, 2024, through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $70.
