West Coast-based eyewear brand District Vision, known for its high-performance running eyewear, has again teamed up with New Balance to release a new iteration of the FuelCell Supercomp Elite v4 as part of NBs Grey Days collection. District Vision previously collaborated with New Balance on the Fresh Foam X More Trail silhouette, an outdoor trail runner.
The District Vision x New Balance FuelCell Supercomp Elite v4 Pack features two striking colorways: Grey and Black. Both pairs are crafted with an engineered mesh base, ensuring breathability and comfort during intense runs. The upper is enhanced with suede details on the mudguard, heel counter, and eyestays, adding a touch of luxury to the performance-driven design. The wavy N logo on the midfoot introduces a reworked branding element, while the District Vision logo is prominently displayed on the lateral heel. The insole features a new font, highlighting the collaboration’s distinct identity.
Underfoot, the FuelCell Supercomp Elite v4 boasts a FuelCell-cushioned midsole combined with a thin carbon fiber plate, offering superior energy return in a lightweight package. This innovative midsole design ensures runners experience a responsive and cushioned ride, ideal for long-distance runs. The rubber outsole with Energy Arc technology is designed to increase stored energy, delivering a higher total energy return and enhancing performance with every stride.
The District Vision x New Balance FuelCell Supercomp Elite v4 Pack will release on May 23, 2024, through New Balance, District Vision, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $265. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
