DJ Khaled's Rumored Air Jordan 5 Collaboration for 2025 is Not Releasing

Outside of his music and business ventures, DJ Khaled is well-known in the sneaker world for having an insane collection of rare PEs, 1-of-1s, and grail releases. The public finally had a shot at securing a DJ Khaled x Air Jordan project when he launched two colorways of the Air Jordan 5, a Sail and Crimson Bliss iteration, in 2022. This launch followed up on multiple PE Air Jordan 3s that fetch insane prices on the aftermarket, but luckily for fans of Khaled, his AJ5s were easily accessible and even hit outlets. After teasing, he is working on another project with Jordan Brand via Instagram; Elden Monitors and House of Heat are reporting that two more DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 colorways are launching in Fall 2025.
The two colorways allegedly coming our way include a Black Racer Blue and an Arctic Pink, with the exact look of each not known at this time. Based on the speculative mock-up by House of Heat, the Black Racer Blue pair comes with premium black leather across most of the upper, with tonal TPU on the midfoot cage and tongue. Reflective 3M details land on the tongue, while we see split branding in blue for Khaled’s We The Best label and Nike Air on the heel. A similar colorblocking is applied to the Arctic Pink pair, with pink hues covering most of the sneaker, 3M on the tongue, and accenting shades on the heel’s branding. Underfoot, both pairs feature the standard AJ5 midsole with pops of color on the shark teeth graphic near the toe paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
