After showing off a collection of Air Jordan 5 Retros in early April, DJ Khaled let the world know that he is planning on releasing a few of those colorways to the public. Under his “We The Best” imprint, three colorways are currently planned to release. While Khaled has said they will be coming soon, we are still awaiting official release details. In the meantime, we have our best look yet at one of the various DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 Retros.
Dubbed the “Crimson Bliss” edition, this Air Jordan 5 Retro sports a premium leather upper with translucent eyelets, like that found on the AJ 5 “Jade Horizon.” A traditional 3M reflective tongue is paired with translucent netting on the side panels. For more premium vibes, a quilted lining in blue is present. Dual branding in the form of “Nike Air” on the right and “We The Best” on the left shoe are featured on the back heels, respectively. All of this sits atop a sail colored midsole with an ice blue speckled flame, finished off by a translucent gum sole with "Nike" on one side, and “We The Best” branding underneath.
The DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 Retro We The Best Crimson Bliss is set to release in on November 28th, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in full-family sizing, men's pairs will retail for $225.
