Nike's innovative venture into the web3 space, .SWOOSH, continues to blend digital art with tangible footwear through unique releases. The journey began in 2023 with the launch of the This Is Not A JPEG (TINAJ) Air Force 1, a conceptual design that brought digital creativity to life. Following this, .SWOOSH released two more Air Force 1 renditions inspired by the notorious "blue screen of death" from Windows PCs, aptly named the 404 Error and the ultra-limited 2.0 version. Now, the latest addition to this digital-inspired lineup, the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low TINAJ B has surfaced, showcasing a distinct mismatched design that plays with textures and colors.
The .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low TINAJ B features a unique combination of materials and colors, creating a striking visual impact. The left sneaker sports a green canvas mudguard paired with an orange tumbled leather toe box, while the right shoe contrasts with red heavy-duty mesh on the toe and a faux croc skin debossed suede mudguard in light yellow. Consistent across both sneakers, black tumbled leather adorns the vamp, eyestays, tongue, Swoosh, midfoot, and heel. The tongue proudly displays a JPEG logo, while the interior showcases .SWOOSH AF1 branding. This Is Not A JPEG is embroidered on the lateral collar in mismatched placements, adding to the sneaker's eclectic aesthetic. The insole features a blue screen of death graphic accompanied by binary code details, rounding out the digital theme. The design is completed with a classic white Air Force 1 midsole and a transparent rubber outsole.
The .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low TINAJ B will release in Fall 2024, exclusively for .SWOOSH members. Exactly how we will access this release remains a mystery at the moment, though previous releases were tied to owning NFTs, playing digital games, and having a .SWOOSH account. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
