Drake's multifaceted talent is no secret. Fresh off the heels of his "It's All a Blur Tour," which saw him electrifying stages across North America with 21 Savage, the Canadian rapper has just blessed the world with another album, For All the Dogs. Yet, amidst his packed schedule, Drake's partnership with Nike remains as strong as ever. Through his NOCTA sub-label, he has been rolling out sleek footwear designs, continuing a relationship that sneakerheads have had a mixed reaction to. One such offering that's been a major success is the NOCTA Glide, a new silhouette inspired by the Zoom Flight 95. Following the OG colorway, a sleek White Chrome will hit shelves. This pair was originally teased in 2022 alongside the all-red rendition.
Taking a closer look, the NOCTA Glide White Chrome is a harmonious blend of materials, boasting textile, mesh, and TPU construction. Drenched in a pristine white, the sneaker exhibits a contrast of chrome detailing. This lustrous finish graces the pull tab and the bug-eyes on the sole unit, adding a metallic shimmer to the understated palette. Branding is subtly integrated with NOCTA’s trident on the tongue and Nike's iconic Swoosh positioned over the midfoot's textile overlay. Nike's lettering also finds its place on the TPU portions flanking the eyestays. Below is a foam midsole with chrome bug eyes, complemented by a white and university gold rubber outsole.
The Nike NOCTA Glide White Chrome will release on October 26th via NOCTA and a wider release will follow on October 27, 2023. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
