While Drake's stock level in hip hop is at an all-time low, his star power is still at the max. As a result, nothing has changed regarding his partnership with Nike. A slew of NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 colorways will be released starting in Holiday 2024 and going into Spring 2025. In addition, the latest NOCTA silhouette, the Nike Hot Step 2, is still on a run of its own. While it's been a few months since the last colorway, some new ones are set for release later this fall, including one in Eggplant.
The NOCTA x Nike Hot Step 2 Eggplant features the same built as previous colorways, such as Total Orange. This time, the sneaker is covered in eggplant purple, with shiny synthetic overlays and mesh underlays. Gunmetal chrome accents are found via the mini Swoosh on the toe, TPU overlay, and the midfoot shank. NOCTA branding is prominent on the tongue and insoles, while a visible air-cushioned midsole is seen in the heel. A solid rubber outsole, also in Eggplant, finishes this pair off.
