With the Toronto Raptors barely hanging onto their Playoff run against the 76ers, some Drake news is sure to bring up the hopes of the city. Sitting courtside supporting his hometown team, the 6 God was recently seen sporting a black silhouette reminiscent of the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95, rumored to be an upcoming new Nocta x Nike sneaker. Just weeks after this, Drake donned a white-based version, once again on the courtside of the Raptors stadium.
As previously mentioned, the silhouette contains DNA from the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95, utilizing a white leather upper with grey and black carbon fiber overlays that appear much more exaggerated along the profile. Nike branding comes spelt out via the eyestays with more hits in the form of the Swoosh located near the collar and heel of the profile. The tooling underneath remains a mystery, though its design appears to borrow from the Zoom Flight 95’s oval motifs. Finishing off the look is the black rubber outsole.
The new Nocta x Nike silhouette in white is expected to release sometime in 2022 or possibly early 2023 through Nocta, Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
