With 13 All-Star appearances, three NBA Championships, and an Olympic gold medal, Dwyane Wade's influence on the court and in performance footwear is unmatched. Since the release of his first signature shoe in 2012 with Li-Ning, the Way of Wade series has consistently pushed boundaries. Now, after the viral unveiling of a statue of Wade outside of the Miami Heat’s arena, Wade and Li-Ning are paying homage to the moment that inspired the statue, his “This is my house!” buzzer beater from 2009.
Drawing direct inspiration from Wade's Miami Heat statue, this new Way of Wade 11 encapsulates Wade’s career highlights in its design. The sneaker features a white leather base complemented by metallic gold accents, symbolizing Wade’s career accomplishments. Premium leather overlays provide a secure fit and durability while exuding a clean, sophisticated aesthetic. Wade's achievements during his time with the Heat are embedded into the details, including the three championships he won commemorated on the tongue and the laces reading “This is my house!”.
Golden details cover the metallic TPU panel running across the profile and along the heel. As with all Way of Wade sneakers, the shoe incorporates high-performance features. A Carbon Core Drive System in the midsole enhances stability and energy return during gameplay, while the GCU outsole delivers unmatched grip and durability. The sneaker also comes packaged in a specially designed box that features the iconic pose from Wade’s 2009 buzzer-beater moment.
"This release is more than a celebration; it’s a reminder that dreams start somewhere, and mine began in Miami. I gave my blood, sweat, and tears to this city and am proud to call it my home," said Dwayne Wade.
