END. and adidas Originals have joined forces once again to deliver a collection that taps into the growing sport and culture of fly fishing. The British-born international retailer and the sportswear giant have a history of successful collaborations, and their latest effort aims to captivate a new generation of Millennial and Gen-Z anglers worldwide. This collection celebrates the heritage of fly fishing, a sport dating back to 200 AD while infusing it with modern style and functionality.
The END x adidas Fly-Fishing Pack is inspired by the functional attire and outdoor lifestyle of fly fishing. This collection includes everyday fishing essentials such as cargo pants, fishing vests, bucket hats, tees, and sweatshirts. The earthy tonal color palette draws inspiration from the riverside and popular fly-fishing catches like wild trout, bass, carp, pike, and salmon. Each piece features custom graphics depicting cartoon-style fish between adidas and END. logos, nodding to vintage-inspired tackle packaging.
As for footwear, the duo reimagines classic adidas silhouettes with a fly-fishing twist. The adidas Tobacco, a 1970s original, is available in Wild Pine and Ecru Tint, inspired by the UK’s native trout. This casual classic is complemented by the adidas Mocaturf, which features a moccasin-inspired upper with Three Stripes mimicking fishing lures. The tongues are detailed with bespoke graphics, further enhancing the fly-fishing aesthetic. The Mocaturf is available in Wild Tint and Sand.
The END x adidas Fly-Fishing Pack will release on May 31, 2024, exclusively via END online and in-store. The adidas Tobacco will retail for $125, and the adidas Mocaturf will retail for $160.
