Digging through the archives has become second nature for New Balance. The brand has had plenty of revivals in the last half-decade, more recently bringing back an offshoot of a Steven Smith-designed silhouette with the New Balance 475. So far, the model has launched in three inline variants: Everglade Green, Ice Wine, and Quarry Blue, alongside two pairs in collaboration with Aime Leon Dore: White Red Navy and Green. Now, END. Clothing has unveiled that it will launch an exclusive colorway of the 475.
Suede details land along the various panels of the upper, with the base layer constructed out of mesh. We see this white mesh along the toebox, collar, and tongue, while creamy tan shades appear on the suede mudguard, vamp, eyestays, and midfoot panel. Another overlay along the midfoot comes in a greyish-blue color, contrasting the navy blue N logo on the midfoot, which is lined in white. More of this navy shade lands along the New Balance-branded heel tab, which rests above the dusty red suede panel wrapping around the heel. No END. Clothing branding is visible on the sneaker, with the tongue tag featuring a 475 and NB logo. The cream foam midsole finishes the design paired with a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 475 Moonbeam will release on November 5, 2024, exclusively via END. Clothing online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $125.
