His latest venture brings a creative twist to the 417, as Villani teams up with Filipino musician and visual artist Eyedress for a special collaborative release.
The Eyedress x New Balance Numeric 417 draws inspiration from the deep friendship between Franky Villani and Eyedress, with the design elements reflecting their shared artistic vision. The sneaker features a faded icy blue hue across its nubuck and canvas upper, giving it a cool, subdued appearance that mirrors Eyedress’s unique style. The collaboration is highlighted by split branding on the tongue, with Eyedress's name on the right shoe and Franky's on the left. This personalized touch continues on the insoles, where cartoon depictions of both artists are printed alongside a snowman angel design, adding a playful element to the sneaker. Completing the look, a light grey vulcanized rubber midsole pairs with a semi-translucent outsole with Eyedress branding, adding durability and a sleek finish.
The Eyedress x New Balance Numeric 417 will release on August 30, 2024, through Eyedress' webstore. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
