Following Jordan Brand's lead in sponsoring several collegiate programs, LeBron James is entering the space with his Nike LeBron line. The first school to be sponsored by James is Florida A&M University (FAMU). So far, the school has received dedicated colorways on the Nike LeBron 7 and the LeBron 20, the latter of which marked collaboration with APB. Now, the school has introduced its exclusive Nike Air Zoom Generation Cleat. The player-exclusive pair merges LeBron James' first signature sneaker, the Air Zoom Generation, with the functionality of football cleats.
The gridiron LeBron was designed exclusively for the FAMU Rattlers football team and is covered in the university's green and orange color scheme. The upper is crafted from high-quality leather and mesh in green. Leather sections near the toe, collar, and heel exhibit a snakeskin finish, bringing an aggressive appeal in line with the Rattlers' mascot. Orange details emerge on the internal sock-like bootie, LeBron logo on the tongue, laces, and Swoosh. A standout feature is the Rattlers mascot prominently displayed at the top of the tongue. Rounding off the design is a green and orange cleated sole unit.
The Nike Air Zoom Generation Cleat FAMU PE will remain exclusive to the FAMU Rattlers football team. Check below for a detailed image of the cleat.
