If Jordan Brand's end of 2021 releases haven't indicated it already, let us be the first to tell you - Air Jordan 2's are back. Recently, the Jordan 2 silhouette has been reimagined by Virgil's Off-White brand, Union LA's Chris Gibbs, and now J. Balvin is getting in on the action.
That's right, the Latin Rap sensation graced us with a first look at his upcoming glow-in-the-dark Jordan 2. The teaser reveals a padded upper juxtaposed by a glow-in-the-dark Air Jordan "Wings" logo on the tongue as well as a full translucent glow-in-the-dark sole. J. Balvin also mentions that this collab will mark the first LED infused Air Jordan Retro. Featuring an LED button on the tongue that when pressed lights up the tongue logo. The accompanying image shows three different sizes of the Air Jordan 2 Retro, which could indicate that the sneaker will be dropping in a full family size run.
Balvin's sophomore project with Jordan Brand is set to release in September 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. They will be available in full-family sizing, from men down to toddler. Extended men's sizes will retail for $300. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
