CLOT has been on a tear to begin 2023 as the Hong Kong-based label has worked with a variety of brands to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. When it comes to its work with Nike, we have seen the Kung-Fu-inspired CLOT x Nike Cortez appear in a “Yin-Yang” and Bruce Lee-like “Black Varsity Maize,” however, it seems like there's more in the pipeline for CLOT x Nike collabs. Teaming up with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design, CLOT is set to bring its Eastern hemisphere influences to a triple-collab Nike Dunk Low.
Just like CLOT's infamous satin-covered AF1 collabs, the same exact design found on that silhouette makes its way to the Dunk Low with fragment design branding thrown into the mix. Eastern hemisphere-themed embroidery appears throughout the white satin upper and covers virtually every panel sans the black leather eyestays. This dark shade continues onto the tongue and lace set while Nike branding atop the tongue continues the white color palette. Below the upper sits a white leather with more intricate patterns as well as embroidered branding details for all three brands apart of the collaboration. Back on the heel, CLOT and FRGMT branding replace the typical Nike embroidery while the design of the three-way collab is completed via a semi-translucent clear rubber midsole and outsole.
The fragment design x CLOT x Nike Dunk Low will release May 19, 2023 through a raffle via Juice Store. Other retailers, including Nike SNKRS, will see a release on June 14, 2023. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
