A fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High is Rumored to Release in 2026

With 2025 being the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, the year should be full of celebrations. Even with the downturn in demand for the model and the subsequent cutting of production/styles of GR colorways, Jordan Brand has big plans that include an ‘85 rendition of the Bred colorway, the proper release and rollout of the Black Toe Reimagined, a UNC Reimagined, and a reprisal of the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High design from 2018. Fresh off the release of the Chicago Shadow Union AJ 1, images of a fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High have appeared.
Previously, fragment had its hands in producing two of the most coveted Air Jordan 1 High collabs, one by themselves in 2014 and the other in collaboration with Travis Scott in 2021. This second three-way collab on the Air Jordan 1 is expected to be just as, if not more, in demand than the previous pairs. Union's DIY-inspired motifs remain present, including the extra stitching around the collar, the split-colored tongue, and the exposed foam, but the color scheme follows the original fragment design x Air Jordan 1 to a T.

The Union tag, which is typically yellow, is now rendered in a black and blue finish. It is still located below the collar overlay, which hosts an enlarged Jordan Wings logo. Aside from the color scheme being the exact same as the OG fragment AJ 1, the pair features the brand's logo stamped on the heel, tooling code on the medial midsole, and branding on the insole, though not seen now.
The fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High was originally rumored to release in 2025, but Chris Gibbs himself has stated that the pair has been delayed into 2026. The pair may be exclusive to Union LA, but nothing is concrete as of this writing.
