Zion Williamson's partnership with Jordan Brand has produced some of the best shoes for hoopers, with the Zion 3 being the latest addition to his signature line. This model has captivated fans with its upgraded drop-in midsole, 3D-scanned TPU overlay inspired by Zion “making it out of the mud,” and vibrant colorways. While these general releases have been widely popular, Jordan Brand has also created exclusive PEs for select players. One such player is Drew League legend Franklin Session, also known as Frank Nitty. Following his Zion 2 PE, Nitty has a new personalized colorway on the Jordan Zion 3, aptly named The Nitty Way.
The Jordan Zion 3 The Nitty Way PE showcases a striking gradient upper, transitioning from rich purples and pinks to vibrant oranges, mimicking a sunset. This unique color scheme is complemented by additional features like a tab near the lateral heel with the words I'm Him and The Nitty Way branding on the right sneaker's heel. These details highlight Nitty's confidence and distinct style on the court. Another unique aspect of this PE is its UV-reactive properties; under UV light, the stitching and details on the upper become more pronounced, adding an extra layer of flair.
The sneaker also features glow-in-the-dark elements on the sole, which appears in a purple hue under normal conditions. Completing the design are custom graphics on the outsole that appear to be an owl logo, making this PE a true collector's item. Nitty stated on his Instagram that he would soon share the full story behind the design, so until then, we’re left to speculate where the inspirations for the sneaker come from.
Unfortunately for the public, the Jordan Zion 3 The Nitty Way PE is limited to just two pairs, according to Frank.
