Fashion label Ice Studios is no stranger to sneaker collaborations. In 2022, the Renell Medrano-founded label launched arguably one of the best Asics collabs with their Gel-Kayano 14. The brand was ahead of the curve, as the Kayano 14 is now amongst the most popular models on the market. Maybe Ice Studios can predict another hit with their upcoming New Balance collaboration, which was teased last month via the brand’s Instagram.
Ice Studios' take on the Minimus Trail sees a multi-color approach to the sneaker, anchored by a cream white base. Various mesh patterns are applied to the toe and midfoot, with a neoprene tongue taking on a red finish. Green and yellow accents pop along the lace loops and midfoot panels. Moving to the medial side, we see Ice Studios branding on the midfoot, with the brand's logo on the heel and along the tongue. Underfoot sits a black and yellow midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Ice Studios x New Balance Minimus Trail Pristine will release on October 17, 2024, through Ice Studios’ website, with a wider release via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store on October 24.
