J. Balvin Wears Custom Air Jordan 4 Inspired by his New Album Rayo
PublishedOver the years, J. Balvin's collaborations with Jordan Brand have consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity. The Colombian superstar has already made waves with his take on the Jordan 1, Jordan 2, and two standout colorways of the Jordan 3. Each release reflects his personal journey and artistic vision—from the Jordan 3 inspired by his son Rio to the one paying homage to the breathtaking sunsets of his hometown, Medellín. However, before we can look at his official take on the Jordan 4, Balvin has come together with sneaker customizer andu.c to create a pair of AJ4s inspired by his new album Rayo.
Spotted on his feet while filming DimeloKing's latest podcast, this custom Jordan 4 features a sleek off-white leather across the mudguard, toebox, and midfoot overlay, offering a clean yet sophisticated base. The real standout is the chrome detailing on the tongue, midfoot, and collar—a clear nod to the chrome car featured on the Rayo album cover. The design is further elevated by the black Jumpman logo set against a white background on the tongue tag, accompanied by matching white laces. Chrome accents continue on the wing eyelets and heel tab, featuring split Nike Air and Jumpman branding. Completing the look is an aged midsole, giving the shoe a vintage feel that contrasts beautifully with the modern chrome elements, paired with a tonal outsole.
Unfortunately, this custom Jordan 4 worn by J. Balvin will be exclusive to the reggaeton legend. Check down below for detailed images of the sneaker, and keep it locked to our mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
